Types of Feedback We Welcome

Feature Requests

Have an idea for a new feature? We’d love to hear it! When submitting a feature request, consider including:
  • What the feature would do — Describe the functionality
  • Why it would be useful — How it would help you or others
  • How you envision it working — Any specific ideas about implementation

Suggestions for Improvement

Think something could work better? Let us know:
  • Which part of BeatPass you’re referring to
  • What could be improved
  • Your idea for how to make it better

General Feedback

Share your overall experience:
  • What you like about BeatPass
  • What frustrates you
  • Your general impressions

Writing Effective Feedback

Good feedback helps us understand and prioritize improvements.

Be Specific

Instead of:
“The search could be better”
Try:
“It would be helpful if the beat search could filter by key signature and tempo range, so I can find beats that match my vocal recordings.”

Explain the Problem

Help us understand:
  • What are you trying to accomplish?
  • What’s preventing you from doing it easily?
  • How does this affect your workflow?

Include Examples

If possible, provide:
  • Screenshots showing what you mean
  • Specific scenarios where this would be useful
  • How other platforms handle similar features (if relevant)

What Happens to Your Feedback

We Read Everything

Every piece of feedback is reviewed by our team. Even if we don’t respond individually to every suggestion, know that your input is valued and considered.

Prioritization

When deciding what to build next, we consider:
  • User impact — How many users would benefit?
  • Problem severity — How significant is the issue?
  • Alignment with vision — Does it fit our product direction?
  • Technical feasibility — Is it achievable with our resources?

Response Time

We typically respond to feedback submissions within 48-72 hours if we need clarification or have follow-up questions. Feature requests may not receive individual responses, but they’re added to our product consideration list.

Common Feedback Topics

We’re always looking to improve the mobile experience. Share what features you’d like to see on mobile devices.
Suggestions for analytics, upload workflows, licensing options, and producer-specific features are especially valuable.
Thoughts on collaboration, following, messaging, and community features are welcome.

Feedback Guidelines

To keep feedback constructive:
Do be specific and detailed
Do explain the problem you’re trying to solve
Do include relevant examples or screenshots
Do be respectful and constructive
Please avoid submitting the same feedback multiple times. Duplicate submissions don’t increase priority and can slow down our review process.
