Albums on BeatPass are collections of beats grouped together by a producer. They might represent a themed project, a compilation of similar beats, or a cohesive body of work. Albums make it easy to explore a producer’s vision and find multiple beats that work well together.
Finding Albums
You can discover albums in several ways:
- From the homepage — Browse featured albums in homepage channels
- From a producer’s page — Visit the Albums tab on any producer profile
- Through search — Search for album names or keywords
- From genre pages — Albums are often featured in genre-specific channels
What’s on an Album Page
At the top of an album page, you’ll see:
- Album artwork — The cover image for the collection
- Album name — The title of the album
- Producer avatar(s) — Click to visit the producer’s profile
- Album details:
- Number of beats in the collection
- Total duration
- Release date
- Play — Start playing all beats in the album
- Like — Save the album to your library
- Share — Share the album with others
- More — Additional options
About This Collection
If the producer has added a description, you’ll see it in the About this collection section. This often explains the theme or concept behind the album.
Albums can have tags that describe their style or mood. Click any tag to discover more content with that keyword.
Track List
Below the header, you’ll find the complete list of beats in the album. For each beat, you can see:
- Track number and name
- Duration
- Popularity indicator
Click any track to start playing from that point in the album.
If comments are enabled, you can see what others are saying about the album and add your own thoughts.
Similar Albums
At the bottom of the page, you’ll often find recommendations for similar albums you might enjoy.
Working with Albums
Playing an Album
Click the main Play button to start playing from the beginning. The beats will play in order until you stop playback or reach the end.
You can also:
- Click any individual track to start from that point
- Use the player controls to skip between tracks
- Shuffle the album for a randomized order
Saving an Album
Click the Like button (heart icon) to save the album to your library. You’ll find it later in your Library under albums.
Sorting Tracks
Click the column headers in the track list to sort by:
- Track number (original order)
- Name
- Duration
- Popularity
