Active sessions show you all the devices and browsers where your BeatPass account is currently logged in. This helps you monitor account access and log out from devices you no longer use.

Viewing Your Sessions

  1. Click your profile avatarEdit Profile
  2. Scroll to the Active sessions section
  3. You’ll see a list of all devices where you’re logged in

Session Information

Each session shows:
InformationDescription
Device TypeDesktop, Mobile, or Tablet
BrowserChrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.
Operating SystemWindows, macOS, iOS, Android, etc.
LocationCity and country (approximate, based on IP)
IP AddressYour network address at time of login
Last ActiveWhen the session was last used
Current DeviceBadge indicating your current session
Location is determined from your IP address and may not be exact. VPN users may see different locations.

Identifying Your Current Session

Your current session is clearly marked with a “This device” label. This helps you distinguish between the session you’re using now and other active sessions.

Logging Out Other Devices

If you see a session you don’t recognize or want to log out from a device you’re no longer using:

Log Out All Other Devices

  1. Click your profile avatarEdit Profile
  2. Scroll to the Active sessions section
  3. Click the Logout other sessions button
  4. Enter your password to confirm
  5. All sessions except your current one will be ended
This will log you out from all other devices immediately. You’ll need to log in again on those devices.

Why Password Is Required

You must enter your password to log out other devices. This security measure ensures that:
  • Only you can end your sessions
  • Someone with temporary access to your account can’t lock you out

When to Review Sessions

Check your active sessions regularly, especially if:
  • You logged in on a public or shared computer
  • You suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • You’re receiving notifications from devices you don’t use
  • You recently changed your password
  • You lost a device that was logged in
Make it a habit to review your sessions monthly. This helps catch any suspicious activity early.

Suspicious Sessions

Signs of Unauthorized Access

Watch for sessions that show:
  • Unfamiliar locations — Cities or countries you haven’t visited
  • Unknown devices — Device types or browsers you don’t use
  • Unusual timing — Activity when you know you weren’t online

What to Do

If you see a suspicious session:
  1. Log out all other devices immediately
  2. Change your password right away
  3. Enable two-factor authentication if not already enabled
  4. Review recent account activity for unauthorized changes
If you believe your account was compromised, change your password immediately and review any changes made to your account settings, uploaded content, or payment information.

Session Limits

BeatPass tracks up to 30 recent sessions. Older sessions are automatically removed from the list as new ones are added. Sessions expire after a period of inactivity. If a session hasn’t been used for a while, it may be automatically logged out for security.

Common Questions

Each browser or device creates a separate session. If you use multiple browsers (Chrome and Safari, for example), each will appear as a separate session.
Location is approximate and based on your IP address. VPNs, corporate networks, and mobile carriers may show different locations than where you actually are.
Sessions are removed when you log out, when they expire due to inactivity, or when they’re older than the 30-session limit.
Currently, you can log out all other devices at once. Individual session logout may not be available.
