Social login lets you use supported third-party accounts to sign in to BeatPass instead of typing your password every time.

What Is Available Right Now

Only providers that are enabled on BeatPass appear in Social login. On the current BeatPass setup, the available option is:
ProviderWhat you can do
GoogleSign in with your Google account and connect it to your BeatPass user
If more providers are enabled in the future, they will appear in the same section automatically.

Enable Google Sign-In

1

Open account settings

Open the Account Settings page.
2

Find Social login

Scroll to the Social login section.
3

Enable Google

Click Enable next to Google account.
4

Finish the Google flow

Complete the Google sign-in window and approve the connection.
After the connection succeeds, BeatPass shows the linked Google account in that row instead of Disabled.

Disable Google Sign-In

To remove Google as a sign-in option for your BeatPass account:
  1. Open the Account Settings page
  2. Open the Social login section
  3. Click Disable next to the connected Google account
If Google is your only way to sign in, create a password first using the Forgot password? flow before you disable it.

If A BeatPass Account Already Exists

If you try to connect or sign in with Google and BeatPass already has an account with the same email address, BeatPass may ask for your existing account password before finishing the connection.

What BeatPass Accesses

When you connect Google, BeatPass may receive:
InformationPurpose
Email addressAccount identification
NameTo identify the connected account
Profile pictureTo help populate your account avatar
BeatPass does not:
  • Post on your behalf
  • Access your messages
  • Access your contacts
  • Store your social password

Troubleshooting

Allow popups for BeatPass and try again. The social sign-in flow opens in a separate window.
BeatPass may already have a user with that email address. Sign in with your existing BeatPass credentials first, then try enabling Google from Social login.
Use Forgot password? to create one by email before disabling Google sign-in.
Only enabled providers appear. If you do not see a provider in the Social login section or on the sign-in page, it is not available on the current BeatPass setup.

Privacy Notes

  • Your social account login credentials are never shared with BeatPass
  • Authentication happens directly with the social provider
  • You can revoke BeatPass access from your social account settings at any time
  • Disabling the connection on BeatPass does not change your Google account itself
