BeatPass includes a small set of public social features that work across profiles, producer pages, tracks, albums, and playlists. This section covers the features that are currently exposed in the web player: following, comments, reposts, and sharing.
Private conversations are documented separately in the Messaging section.

Included Features

Following System

Follow user profiles and producers to keep your library, profile tabs, and notifications up to date.

Comments

Leave public comments on tracks and albums, including time-stamped comments on track waveforms.

Reposts

Repost tracks and albums to your public profile when reposts are enabled on your BeatPass instance.

Sharing & Embeds

Copy share links for tracks, albums, producers, and playlists, or embed tracks and albums on external sites.

What Social Features Do Not Include

  • BeatPass does not currently expose a separate follower activity feed page.
  • Embeds are available for tracks and albums only, not producer pages or playlists.
  • Reposts depend on the repost feature being enabled for the current BeatPass installation.

Community Guidelines

Keep it respectful. Comments that contain harassment, spam, or inappropriate content may be removed and can result in account restrictions.
  • Be constructive with feedback
  • Don’t spam reposts or comments
  • Report content that violates the Content Guidelines
  • Respect intellectual property
