Types of Issues You Can Report

Technical Issues (Bugs)

Report when something isn’t working correctly:
  • App crashes or freezes
  • Features not working as expected
  • Display or layout problems
  • Playback issues
  • Upload failures
  • Error messages

Content Issues

Report problematic content:
  • Copyright infringement
  • Inappropriate content
  • Misleading information
  • Stolen or unauthorized uploads
  • Spam or abuse

Account Issues

Report when there’s a problem with your account:
  • Suspicious activity
  • Unauthorized access
  • Account security concerns

How to Report a Bug

What to Include in a Bug Report

A good bug report helps us find and fix the issue faster:

Example Bug Report

“When I try to upload a track on Chrome (Version 118) on Windows 11:
  1. I select a WAV file (about 25MB)
  2. The upload progress reaches 100%
  3. Then I see ‘Upload failed’ with error code 413
Expected: The track should upload successfully This happens every time with files over 20MB.”

How to Report Content Issues

If you believe content infringes on your copyright:
  1. Contact us at [email protected] or through the Contact page
  2. Include:
    • The specific track or content URL
    • Evidence of your ownership
    • Your contact information
  3. We’ll review and respond within 24-48 hours
Per our Terms of Service, Producers retain all ownership of their Beats. If you believe your content has been uploaded without authorization, please include proof of your original ownership.

Inappropriate Content

To report content that violates our guidelines:
  1. Use the Contact page
  2. Provide:
    • Link to the content
    • Reason for the report
    • Any additional context
Reports are reviewed by our team and handled confidentially. The person who uploaded the content is not notified of who reported it.

What Happens After You Report

For Bug Reports

  1. Acknowledgment — We confirm receipt of your report
  2. Investigation — Our team attempts to reproduce the issue
  3. Prioritization — We assess severity and impact
  4. Resolution — We work on a fix
  5. Update — We may contact you when resolved

For Content Reports

  1. Review — Our team reviews the reported content
  2. Assessment — We determine if it violates our policies
  3. Action — We take appropriate action (removal, warning, etc.)
  4. Notification — You may receive an update on the outcome

Before Reporting

For Technical Issues

Try these basic troubleshooting steps first:
  1. Refresh the page — Sometimes issues are temporary
  2. Clear browser cache — Cached data can cause problems
  3. Try a different browser — Isolates browser-specific issues
  4. Check your internet connection — Connectivity issues can mimic bugs
  5. Log out and log back in — Refreshes your session

Urgent Issues

Security Vulnerabilities

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it immediately through the Contact page. Include “SECURITY” in your message for priority handling.

Account Compromise

If you believe your account has been compromised:
  1. Change your password immediately
  2. Contact us through the Contact page
  3. Include “URGENT: Account Security” in your message

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Try disabling browser extensions
  • Ensure you’re not in a private/incognito window with restricted permissions
  • Check that your file meets format requirements
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Try a smaller file to test
  • Clear browser cache and try again
  • Verify you’re using the correct email
  • Try resetting your password
  • Clear cookies and try again
  • Check if your account email is verified
