Collections (also known as albums) help you organize related beats into cohesive projects. This guide shows you how to create and manage collections on BeatPass.

Why Create Collections?

Collections offer several benefits for producers:
  • Better Organization — Group beats by project, style, or theme
  • Improved Discoverability — Listeners can explore your complete projects
  • Professional Presentation — Showcase your work as curated releases
  • Easier Navigation — Fans can browse all tracks in a collection together

Creating a New Collection

Navigate to your Producer Dashboard and click Upload.
2

Select Collection mode

3

Upload your tracks

Drag and drop or select multiple audio files. All uploaded tracks will be grouped into the collection.
4

Add the collection name, artwork, and other information.
5

Review each track

Method 2: Create Empty Collection First

You can also create a collection and add tracks later:

  4. Fill in the collection details
  5. Add tracks afterward using the edit function

  3. Search for and select the tracks you want to add
  4. Save your changes

Managing Tracks in a Collection

Reordering Tracks

  3. Save your changes

Editing Individual Tracks

  3. Save your changes

Removing Tracks

To remove a track from a collection:
  1. Click the Remove icon next to the track
  2. Confirm the removal
Removing a track from a collection doesn’t delete it. The track will still exist as an individual track in your catalog.

Collection Cover Art

A great cover helps your collection stand out:
  • Recommended size: 500×500 pixels or larger
  • Format: Square aspect ratio
  • Quality: High resolution for best display
If you don’t add cover art, BeatPass may use a default image or the artwork from the first track.

Editing a Collection

To update a collection after creation:
  1. Go to your Producer Dashboard
  2. Find the collection you want to edit
  3. Click Edit or the edit icon
  4. Make your changes
  5. Click Update Collection to save
You can update:
  • Collection name and description
  • Cover art
  • Release date
  • Artists, genres, and tags
  • Track order

Deleting a Collection

To delete a collection:
  1. Navigate to the collection
  2. Access the edit or management options
  3. Choose the delete option
  4. Confirm deletion
Deleting a collection is permanent. The tracks within will become individual tracks, not part of any collection.

Best Practices

Group beats by style, mood, or project for a cohesive listening experience.
Create a visual identity for your collections that reflects your brand.
Tell the story behind your collection — inspiration, production process, or intended use.
Arrange tracks in a way that creates a good flow when played in order.
