Step-by-Step Application
1. Start the Application
Go to/backstage/requests and select Become a Producer (or Start Application if you don’t have a profile yet).
2. Profile Setup
Enter your Producer Name—this is how you’ll appear on BeatPass. Choose carefully, as this becomes your public identity on the platform. You can also upload a profile picture at this step.3. Personal Details
Fill in your information:- First name (required)
- Last name (required)
- Company or label (optional)
4. Supporting Materials
Provide links and documents to support your application:- Link to your beats (required) — A URL where we can hear your production work
- Instagram handle (optional) — Helps verify your identity
- Attachments (optional) — Additional supporting documents
5. Join Discord
You’re encouraged to join our Discord community. While not required for this application type, it’s a great way to connect with other producers and get support.6. Agreement
Check both boxes to confirm:- You agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- You own all rights to the beats you’ll upload, grant BeatPass a non-exclusive license, and commit to uploading at least 2 beats per month
7. Submit
Click Submit Application to send your application for review.What Happens Next
Application Review
Our team reviews your application to verify:- Quality of your beats
- Accuracy of your information
- Legitimacy as a producer
Decision Notification
You’ll receive an email when a decision is made:- Approved — You can start uploading immediately
- Denied — You’ll receive feedback and can reapply
After Approval
Once approved:- Your producer profile is created
- You gain access to the Producer Dashboard
- You can start uploading beats
- The Backstage menu item appears in your profile
