Step 1: Create Your Account

If you haven’t already, create a free account. You’ll need to verify your email to access all features.

Step 2: Explore the Beat Catalog

Browse New Beats

Click All Beats in the sidebar to see the latest uploads. New beats are added daily by producers around the world.

Discover by Genre

Click Genres to filter beats by style:
  • Hip Hop, Trap, R&B
  • Pop, Electronic, Afrobeats
  • And many more

Find Curated Collections

Click Collections to browse beat packs. These are groups of beats organized by theme, mood, or style — perfect for finding inspiration.

Step 3: Play and Preview Beats

Playing a Beat

  • Hover over any beat card and click the play button
  • Or click directly on the beat to open its page

Using the Player

The player bar appears at the bottom of the screen:
  • Play/Pause — Start or stop playback
  • Skip — Jump to the next beat
  • Volume — Adjust the sound level
  • Progress bar — Scrub through the beat
Press the spacebar to quickly play or pause without clicking.

Step 4: Save Your Favorites

Like a Beat

Click the heart icon on any beat to add it to your Liked Beats. Find all your liked beats in Your Library → Liked Beats.

Create Playlists

Organize beats into custom playlists:
  1. Click the + button in the Playlists section of the sidebar
  2. Name your playlist
  3. Add beats by clicking the add to playlist option on any beat

Step 5: Follow Producers

When you find a producer you like:
  1. Click on their name to visit their profile
  2. Click Follow to stay updated
When they upload new beats, you’ll see them in your feed and can receive notifications if enabled.

Step 6: Submit Beat Requests

Looking for a specific type of beat? Submit a request:
  1. Click Requests in the sidebar
  2. Describe what you’re looking for (genre, tempo, mood, etc.)
  3. Producers who see your request may create beats that match

What Free Users Can’t Do

With a free Explorer account, you can stream everything, but you cannot:
  • Download beats
  • Use beats commercially
To download beats with commercial licenses, you’ll need a subscription. Plans start at $29 CAD/month.
