Custom artwork is the manual image path in BeatPass. Use it when you want your own branded or release-specific visuals instead of BeatPass preset artwork.

How Custom Artwork Interacts With AI Presets

When you upload your own image:
  • BeatPass switches the artwork mode to the manual path
  • Any selected AI preset is cleared
This is useful when the preset suggestions get you close, but you still want a completely custom final image.

Replacing Artwork

To replace custom artwork, upload a different image over the current one and save again.

Removing Artwork

On existing content, removing the track-level image can cause BeatPass to fall back to other available artwork, such as collection art, depending on the content state. For brand-new uploads, do not rely on removal as a final state because BeatPass requires cover art before the save passes.

Best Practices

BeatPass uses rounded and circular presentation styles in parts of the UI, so edge-heavy artwork can crop poorly.
Search and profile views show smaller thumbnails than the edit preview.
Collections and release runs look stronger when the visual language feels connected.

AI Presets

Use BeatPass preset artwork instead of manual uploads.
