When browsing large channels with many items, filters help you narrow down the content to find exactly what you’re looking for. Not all channels have filters—they appear when enabled and are most useful on channels with extensive catalogs.

Available Filters

Search Filter

The search filter lets you find specific items within a channel by typing a keyword. How to use:
  1. Look for the search box at the top of the channel
  2. Type a beat name, keyword, or term
  3. Results update instantly as you type
Works with:
  • Beats (search by track name)
  • Albums (search by album name)
  • Producers (search by artist name)
  • Playlists (search by playlist name)

Genre Filter

The genre filter lets you narrow content by musical style. How to use:
  1. Find the All Genres dropdown
  2. Click to see available genres
  3. Select a genre to filter the channel
Works with:
  • Beats
  • Albums
  • Producers

Artist Filter

The artist filter lets you view content from a specific producer. How to use:
  1. Find the All Artists dropdown
  2. Scroll through or search for a producer
  3. Select to show only their content
Works with:
  • Beats
  • Albums

Filter Availability

Not every channel shows all filters. The available filters depend on:
Content TypeAvailable Filters
BeatsSearch, Genre, Artist
AlbumsSearch, Genre, Artist
ProducersSearch, Genre

GenresSearch
Filters only appear on standalone channel pages, not on channel previews shown on the homepage.

Using Multiple Filters

You can combine filters to narrow results further:
  1. Select a genre — Show only Hip-Hop beats
  2. Choose an artist — Within Hip-Hop, show only a specific producer
  3. Add a search term — Find beats with “dark” in the name
Filters work together to give you increasingly specific results.

Clearing Filters

To reset filters and see all channel content again:
  • Individual filter — Select “All Genres” or “All Artists” from the dropdown
  • Search — Clear the search box
  • All filters — Refresh the page or navigate away and back

Sorting Content

Some channels allow sorting in addition to filtering. Look for sorting options in the channel header or column headers (in table layouts). Common sort options include:
  • Most popular — Content with the most plays/engagement
  • Recently added — Newest content first
  • Release date — Based on when the beat was released
In table layouts, click column headers to sort by:
  • Track name
  • Duration
  • Date added
  • Popularity

Tips for Effective Filtering

  • Start broad, then narrow — Begin with a genre filter, then add an artist or search term
  • Use search for specifics — When you know part of a name, search is fastest
  • Combine thoughtfully — Too many filters might show zero results
  • Reset when stuck — If you see no results, clear filters and start fresh
If you frequently browse the same type of content, consider using genre pages directly instead of filtering within general channels.
