Professional Credits

Professional Credits let you publish Spotify-linked work you contributed to outside your BeatPass catalog.

What Credits Are For

Credits are meant for verified outside work such as:
  • Production
  • Engineering
  • Writing
  • Performance
  • Other credited creative roles

Adding Your First Credit

1

Open your producer editor

Go to More -> Edit on your producer profile.
2

Open the Credits tab

Use Credits in the producer editor. This tab is available for existing producer profiles.
3

Start a new credit

Use the add-credit flow to begin searching Spotify.
4

Search Spotify

Search for the song or album you want to attach to your profile.
5

Select your roles

Choose one or more roles that match your contribution.
6

Save the credit

Confirm the entry and save it.

Adding Album Credits

Album credits let you apply roles across a project and then fine-tune them per track.
1

Search for the album

Switch to album search and find the project.
2

Apply broad roles

Apply the roles that fit most tracks on the release.
3

Customize track-by-track when needed

Adjust roles on individual tracks when your contributions vary within the album.
4

Save the album credits

Confirm the final album credit set.

Where Credits Appear Publicly

Professional Credits are displayed inside the public Discography view, not as a separate top-level producer tab. Visitors can:
  • See credited songs and albums
  • Filter by role when filters are available
  • Open the underlying release in Spotify

Credit Hygiene

Only add credits you can stand behind publicly:
  • Use accurate roles
  • Prefer official Spotify releases
  • Remove entries that no longer reflect your brand
  • Keep the list selective so it strengthens the profile instead of diluting it
Credits work best as proof of professional history. They should complement your BeatPass catalog, not repeat it.
