Editing Your Profile

Keep your profile fresh and up to date so others can learn more about you. Here’s how to customize every part of your BeatPass profile.

Opening the Profile Editor

Go to Your Profile

Click your profile avatar in the top right corner of any page, then click on your name or avatar to visit your profile.

Click Edit

On your profile page, click the Edit button. This opens the profile editor dialog.

What You Can Edit

The profile editor is organized into two sections: Personal Information and Your Links.

Personal Information

FieldDescription
Profile PictureUpload a photo that represents you. Click the avatar area to browse and select an image.
UsernameYour unique handle on BeatPass. This appears in your profile URL.
First NameYour first name (optional).
Last NameYour last name (optional).
CityWhere you’re based (optional).
CountryYour country (optional). Select from the dropdown list.
DescriptionA short bio about yourself. Tell others who you are and what you’re into.
Your username is how people find you on BeatPass. Choose something memorable that represents you or your brand.
Add links to your social profiles and websites so visitors can find you elsewhere:
  • Instagram
  • Twitter / X
  • YouTube
  • SoundCloud
  • Spotify
  • Your personal website
  • Any other relevant links
Links appear on your profile with recognizable icons, making it easy for visitors to connect with you on other platforms.

Saving Your Changes

After making your edits:
  1. Review your changes in the editor
  2. Click Save to apply your updates
  3. The dialog will close and your profile will be updated immediately
If you change your mind, click Cancel to discard your changes.

Profile Picture Tips

For the best results with your avatar:
  • Use a square image — Your photo will be displayed in a circle
  • Keep it clear — Choose an image where your face or logo is easily visible
  • Stay professional — Your avatar appears across BeatPass in comments, messages, and more
Your profile picture is visible to everyone on BeatPass. Make sure it follows our community guidelines and doesn’t contain inappropriate content.

Editing From Account Settings

You can also edit some profile details from your account settings:
  1. Click your profile avatar → Edit Profile
  2. This takes you to Account Settings where you can update your account information
The profile editor dialog (accessed from your profile page) is the quickest way to update your public-facing profile.

For Producers: Connecting to Your Producer Profile

If you have a producer profile on BeatPass, visitors to your user profile will see:
  • Producer Profile button — A button that links directly to your producer profile where your beats are displayed
  • Verified badge — If your producer profile is verified, the blue checkmark appears on your user profile too
To edit your producer profile (cover image, bio, genres, etc.), visit your producer profile page, click More, then select Edit.
Your user profile and producer profile are separate but connected. Edit each one from its respective profile page for the best experience.
